MOBILE, Ala.| Odalys Cordova and Puerto Rico will compete this week at the XVII Softball World Cup in Group B, which will be held at Camp Municipal de Beisbol Sofbol de Valencia beginning on Tuesday and continue through Saturday.
The five-day Group B pool play opens up with Puerto Rico taking on No. 11 China in the opening round, followed by contest versus No. 38 South Africa (July 19), No. 28 Cuba (July 20), No. 10 Netherlands and No. 12 Spain (July 21), before wrapping up competition with a playoff game on July 22.
