SAN MARCOS, Texas — Texas State volleyball finished its three-game weekend with a 3-1 win over in-state foe Abilene Christian.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Texas State started the match with a 5-2 run to give them an early lead. After the Bobcats went up 8-3, Abilene Christian took a time out. That didn't stop the Bobcats, though. Heading into the late stages of the set the Bobcats held a 10-point lead that helped them to a 25-21 win in set one.
Set two was a battle that neither side could give an inch in.
