ATHENS, Ohio – Toledo's Lauren Kilgore finished fifth on the podium in the 200 IM and as a member of the 400 medley relay team to lead the Toledo women's swimming & diving team on Day Two of the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championships in Athens. The Rockets sit in seventh place with 103 team points after two days of competition.
Five Rockets qualified for Thursday's finals: seniors Jovana Duric, Madison Giglio, Kilgore, and Kennedy Lovell, and sophomore Janne Slegers.
Kilgore shaved 1.77 seconds off her prelims time to finish fifth overall in the 200 IM with a season-best time of 2:00.
